JACOB FURR of Veedersburg died last Friday morning at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 9 days. He is survived by a wife and three children, Isa, Freeman and Ruth.
In the summer Mr. Furr and wife went to the country home of the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Furr, to assist in the cares of that household, but some three months ago they were compelled to return to Veedersburg in order that he might be nearer his physician, and here death came as a sweet release after years of suffering. He joined the Scott’s Prairie church in early manhood, later placing his membership with the church in the Hub.
Funeral services were conducted from the Christian church in Veedersburg last Sunday morning by Rev. O. E. Kelley, enterment being made in the Rockfield cemetery. -s
